One of the reasons why ShinMaywa submersible pumps are popular is the auto-connection device.
When the pump is lowered along the guide pipe, the pump is connected with the discharge tube
via the connection and can be taken out of the pump pit just by lifting it up.
Bolts, nuts, and packing are not used in the connected portion.
This auto-connection facilitates maintenance, eliminating the need to enter the pump pit to lift the pump up,
dipping out sewage water or tightening or loosening bolts.
